Danny Hale

Sergeant Danny Hale, a distinguished law enforcement professional who began his journey as a Metro-Nashville Police Officer in 1984. With a dedicated career spanning over 18 years in the K-9 unit, Sergeant Hale handled three remarkable patrol dogs—Jacko, Mihk, and Vader—alongside his narcotics dog, Koda. His impactful contributions include overseeing 60 K9 apprehensions of dangerous felons and achieving a 1st place title with his first dog, Jacko, at the USPCA national field trials in 1987. Sergeant Hale's expertise extends beyond patrol work, as he successfully led numerous narcotics confiscations during his tenure.

Recognized for his outstanding skills, Sergeant Hale's career progression saw him promoted to Training Sergeant of the Metro Nashville K-9 unit. In this role, he played a vital part in shaping the next generation of K9 teams, training several new handlers and their canine partners.

Chase Hale

Introducing Chase Hale, a second-generation police officer and esteemed K9 handler at the Metro-Nashville Police Department since 2013. In the realm of law enforcement, Chase has been an integral member of the force, serving as a K9 handler since 2017, guiding three exceptional Patrol Dogs – Doc, Rocket, and Groot. Noteworthy accolades include clinching titles in the Region 13 USPCA field trials and apprehending numerous felony suspects.

Elevating to the role of Head K9 Trainer in 2020, certified as a Level 1 United States Police Canine Association Trainer, Chase has played a pivotal role in shaping Nashville's K-9 unit. His commitment to excellence is evident through the training of over twenty new K9 teams for Nashville's Police Department and active assistance in training several more from across the country.

As Head Trainer, Chase led his department team to a remarkable 2nd place at the USPCA National trials, showcasing his exceptional leadership and training abilities. Chase Hale stands as a reliable choice for dog owners seeking trustworthy training and care for their cherished companions. Garrett Reingardt

Garrett Reingardt, born and raised in South Florida, grew up in a law enforcement family and was surrounded by various pets, especially dogs. An avid outdoorsman, Garrett's passion for working with dogs began at a young age through hunting and the removal of invasive wild boar. His professional journey started with his certification as a 100-Ton Licensed Captain by the United States Coast Guard, working for an emergency towing and salvage company in South Florida.

In 2017, he moved to Tennessee to pursue his lifelong dream of becoming a police officer. There, he trained personal dogs for wounded game recovery using tracking methods he learned during his early years. His tracking program for wounded game recovery became highly successful, serving Middle Tennessee.

In 2021, Garrett was selected for the MNPD K9 Unit, where he assisted Head Trainer Chase Hale with real-world street-based training and green dog tracking programs. He received numerous commendations and awards for his achievements with his K9 partner. Garrett's extensive experience and skills make him an invaluable asset to Wilson County K9, and his knowledge is what makes his dog teaching methods a success for every dog he trains.
